It shouldn't be this tough to travel
At the speed of sound
After all, whispers do it all the time

But when you want to take your body with you
The air crushes you
Just by not getting out of the way

What once was defined ephemeral
Has become solid
Everything has its limits after all

It has been done, but not by me
Engineering constraints
Imposing blindly their tyrannical domain

So that caustic remark I tried to take back
Evaded my grasp
