Only Partial Success
Dec. 4th, 2005 09:48 pmSo, what with Thag having sealed the windows in Alyssa's room yesterday, today we had snow and the freezing temperatures that come with it.
And Alyssa's room is no longer drafty. (Yay!)
And Alyssa's room is still very cold. (Boo!)
The reason for this is painfully obvious: the thermostat for the entire upstairs is in her sister's room, which is directly above the woodstove.
Sealing the windows was probably a good move, and may even prove to be a cost-effective one, but an electric blanket is looking like a better idea all the time.
