6 Sick Hours
Feb. 12th, 2007 11:22 amToday, I am taking six sick hours. No, not for me. My younger is having the hardest time shaking this cold, and she was totally spacy in school, and constantly blowing her nose (productively), and her face was kind of blotchy.
And yet, she has no fever...
Still, with
tamidon having a full day with the caterers, it's my turn to stay at home with a sick child.
Mind you, this is a child who would rather be in pain than be bored. She has some books from school to read, but she's still loathe to stay still to let her body repair itself.
She'll have chicken soup for lunch, and if she's still displaying symptoms this afternoon, she'll get the "nighttime cold medicine" which is pretty much guaranteed to knock her out.
