Unexpected Benefit
Sep. 19th, 2007 01:32 pmA few months ago, my office relocated to a section of the building which is pretty close to some test equipment. Noisy test equipment.
It took a while to kick the bureaucrats around, but they finally shuffled the paperwork and got us some Noise Cancelling Headphones. Of the QC3 variety, for the inordinately curious.
These things not only rock on toast, they subvert their own function by being much better headphones for my iPod than the widely-detracted ear buds. But with the volume turned down enough, I can continue to hear normal conversation better than I could without earphones and with outside noise.
