Open Letter to
tamidon
Dec. 1st, 2007 11:49 amI dropped by Blood Farms [1] this morning and picked up our smoked pig order. There was one full ham [2], two half-hams, 20 1-lb. packages of bacon rashers, 1 package of bacon ends, and one smoked hock.
This is in addition to the non-smoked pig parts we (you) picked up earlier.
To everyone who isn't
tamidon: No, you can't have any. This is ours. The big ham is for a party, so some of you may get to have some of it. Maybe. Be nice to us.
[1] No, they don't have a web-site.
[2] To which, the butcher asked "Are you sure you want this? We can saw it in half." "Let me put it this way: our Thanksgiving turkey was 34 pounds." "Oh, that's too big." "Not after my wife deboned it." "Oh. Okay." This ham is 28 pounds or so.
