Revenge of Myers-Briggs
Jan. 17th, 2008 02:35 pmWe've all taken a Myers-Briggs personality test before, I'm sure. The overwhelming majority of on-line personality quizzes are based on, or at least descended from, good ol' Myers-Briggs.
I always scored as massively extroverted, but nearly evenly split on the other three traits. When pressed, and taking slight tendencies as determinations, I'd score ENTP.
But someone at work has apparently just discovered Myers-Briggs, and she's asking us all to take an informal test to prove some kind of point. So, what the heck, I took it again.
ENFJ. The Extroversion is only slight (as are the iNtuitive and the Feeling), but the Judging is not.
Now, I know that my Extroversion took a bit of a hit six years ago, but I'm surprised that I've gone from Perceiving to Judging.
Perhaps this is because I'm now the parent of a teenager.
But the real point, of course, is that people can and do change.
