Remember when Thag replaced a thermostat? But that didn't keep the upstairs from being 86F?
I'm pretty sure that extra bit of oil consumption is responsible for us running out of heating oil just two days before my next paycheck.
But I think we can afford two days' worth of interest, even on a tankload of oil. (For us, a tankload is around 400 gallons. Multiply by the price of diesel. Yeah. Ouch.)
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to stoke the woodstove again and go to bed.
