And... We're Back
We have moved to our new office building. The cubicles are way too open, the lighting is oppressively fluorescent, and (worst of all) the coffee machines are not up and running yet.
But those are just the things getting under my fingernails. We do have sufficient conference roomage (finally), space to expand (hopefully), and zippy communications (wahoo).
On top of everything else, I'm upgrading from RHEL 5.1 to Ubuntu 7.10 (and perhaps soon to 8.04). So I've spent all day getting packages that I couldn't get with my previous set-up. I'll have to learn debian-based package management, but that should be no big thing.
