Another Week
May. 18th, 2008 01:24 pmI haven't been posting much lately. This last week, I had an excuse: I was in all-day meetings every day at work. By the end of the week, all participants (myself definitely included) were on a fairly high stage of brain-fry.
So: charge! The next few weeks (until June 6th) are going to be hard and furious. I may not be posting much, or I may get that form of logorhea which afflicts the exhausted.
Yesterday was fairly full as well: first, my younger got her next Tae Kwon Do belt (green with a blue stripe). She concentrates well, has good form, and breaks boards. She also dropped her defensive forms partner to the ground on every attack, and totally chased her sparring partner around the ring.
Then I took her to
goddessfarmer and
oneagain's party up in NH, where a mellow time was had by many. We had a good time until early evening, when I left the cakes we brought behind, and took her home.
Then (wisely leaving
tamidon at home), I took
shadesong to
mangosteen and
lifecollage's Re-Stacking. More good social interaction, and
mangosteen insisted that I borrow his DVD of "Reefer Madness: the Movie Musical". I haven't watched it yet, but that's because I slept until noon.
Now, our friend James is mowing our lawn for the first time this season, and my grass-allergy self is ensconced inside, poking at my ancient Linux box (for information for free-cycling or Craig's List) and then doing some work-related learning on my work laptop.
