Kids These Days
Mar. 27th, 2010 09:54 pmLast night, TMC ran three Ray Harryhausen movies: "Jason and the Argonauts", "Clash of the Titans", and "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad". I accidentally got caffeinated, so I watched all three, but the first one was on in time for the kids to watch.
They thought it was lame.
They thought "Jason and the Argonauts" was lame.
Ah well. They're spoiled by everything that Harryhausen helped bring about. They're too young to appreciate what he was creating, and what he was creating it with.
I didn't get to bed until 4:30am, slept until 10:30am, then did the yardwork that got interrupted by last winter.
I've edited a story of mine for an anthology submission. Sometimes I find writing very easy, but I have never found rewriting easy. But this one had a terrible introduction, which did not fit in with the voice of the rest of the story at all. I believe I've got that fixed.
