And it's been way too long. I've gained weight, and my muscles were complaining about the yoga.

This Can Stop Any Time Now

From 1997 to 2002, I worked at a really great start-up which wound up being bought by Caldera, and then we were all laid off as that company floundered in the burst of the internet/software bubble. Thru the magic of email lists, we've all managed to keep in touch.

Two of my coworkers there were sisters, one full-time and one part-time. They were just about as different as sisters could be (one on the zaftig side, the other quite wiry), but once they started talking, it was obvious that they were siblings.

I just found out that the wiry one died yesterday. She was younger than me. She was admitted to the hospital on Monday by one of her current coworkers because "she was not feeling well". But somehow, she managed to get lost soon after admission, and they found her body in the woods outside the hospital this morning. Her sister suspects that she became disoriented, wandered until she got outside of the strange building, and then got lost in the strange neighborhood.

There's so much wrong with this, I don't even know where to start.
