On Top of Everthing Else: Coffee
Jan. 24th, 2011 11:52 pmRemember that I cut way back on caffeine a few years ago to get my blood pressure back down to non-explosive levels?
This week, that has not been an option. Not only do I have to shift myself seven time-zones, my brain has to be "On" at all work-times. And the work-days here are long, and we're working long hours by Israeli standards.
(They think Americans work short hours; I haven't heard what they think of the French. Maybe I'll ask today.)
Decaffeinating after I get home is going to be, er, "amusing". As in, full of headaches and irritability.
I may have to ramp down slowly.
